At Line Corner Consulting, we aim to be more than a consulting firm.

Our objective is simple: contribute concretely to accelerating the energy transition. Not only through the projects we deliver, but also through the way we operate every day.

We continuously look for practical ways to reduce our own footprint and align our actions with the transition we help build. Travel is an obvious place to start. Consulting involves frequent journeys for our consultants. These journeys have an impact. Yet, this impact is rarely visible or measured.

To address this, our data team developed a simple internal tool to track the CO₂ emissions of our journeys. The objective is not to restrict mobility, but to create awareness. Once the impact is visible, small adjustments become easy: train instead of plane, grouping meetings, remote alternatives, or better planning of on-site presence.

The tool is intentionally lightweight and easy to use. It relies on ADEME emissions data and requires only a few inputs to estimate emissions. The goal is to make it usable in daily work, not another reporting exercise.

We believe initiatives like this should be shared. If it helps us make better decisions, it can help others too.
